Figura was born out of 20+ years of tailoring experience of the founder Daniel.
DANIEL established his own premium tailoring brand Victor York in 2002, based out of Singapore. Over the next 6-years, sales grew to $4-million.
Daniel was confronted with the challenge of producing made to measure attire for clients not residing in Singapore. THESE WOULD GENERALLY BE THE BEST MEN OR A GROOM FOR A WEDDING.
Daniel's solution would be the blue print years later for FIGURA.
Daniel would ask the client to place an A4 piece of paper on a favourite fitting shirt & trousers, take a picture and send across. From this, Daniel would use 1st-grade algebra to calculate the sizes, something he was 99% of the time correct with. Figura is an extension of his 20 years of experience.
